Malaysia now joins BRICS
More march of the lemmings.
There are people that actually think that helping to tank the U.S. economy (something it’s already doing on its own) won’t come back to bite them. Along with the glee over rejection of the dollar is tacit joy over feeding more symbolic authority to the Chinese Communist Party.
Most countries that become entangled with the scheming totalitarians of China have come to regret it.
“China” isn’t just China. It’s a single political party that resists all opposition, surveils its citizens, and punishes disobedience, real or perceived. Its actions and policies have been responsible for the death of millions of its own citizens. Countries that bow to its authority will find themselves in permanent bondage to the whims of dictatorship. If you liked the “Cultural revolution,” Tiananmen Square, Uyghur “reeducation” camps, and loss of democracy in Tibet and Hong Kong, you’ll love a new world dystopia under the boot of the CCP. Wake up people. It’s taken centuries for countries to evolve a state of affairs where freedom flourishes, only a couple decades for the clock to be turned back to a state of feudalism. Dystopia will not be pleasant.
